Summary


The Academy for Technology and the Classics' campus is a collection of portable buildings set up in the parking lot of the Genoveva Chavez Community Center. The charter school, which teaches grades seven to 12, lacks science labs and a cafeteria and stores its library books in various rooms around the campus.

The academy is desperately seeking a permanent home, and it wants the Santa Fe Public School District to give it one -- on 10 acres of land the district owns in the northwest sector of the city, south of Buckman Road.
