According to a press release from the U.S. Apple Association, an apple a day may keep more than the doctor away. It may also help keep breast cancer away.
The association's claim is based on a study published this spring by researchers at New York's Cornell University, who fed whole apple extracts to animals treated with a known mammary carcinogen.
