Alberto Crane was 17 years old when he first learned of Brazilian jiujitsu. In the 12 years since, Crane has gone from a student of the martial art to a master instructor.

He has competed in the martial art for years, both in the United States and in Brazil. He has trained with different teachers in jiu- jitsu. Some honed his existing skills, while others taught him more.
