Businesses with parking lots of at least 40 spaces or 13,000 square feet could be charged an additional $30 a month on their utility bills until they complete measures to handle storm-water runoff on their properties.
The proposal, being addressed by City Council committees, would amend an ordinance passed last year to satisfy new federal regulations aimed at getting urban areas to clean up the runoff from natural precipitation.See the full content of this document
