Santa Fe city councilors have set two public hearings this week on a proposal to import 5.6 million gallons of water a day from the Estancia Basin.
A member of the Estancia Basin Water Planning Committee urged residents who opposed the plan during a Thursday meeting at the Torrance County Fairgrounds to attend this week's hearings in Santa Fe.
