Santa Fe's record gasoline prices are posted clearly at almost every station in the city. But the amount of money that might ultimately be passed on to taxpayers to keep government vehicles fueled isn't so conspicuous.
Whether it's Santa Fe Public Schools or city, county or state government, every government entity owns vehicles that require fuel, and even though most agencies buy in bulk, the higher prices add up.
