Again, good news from the teen scene: Many parents and other adults have long been aware of the ever-heavier homework load carried by conscientious high-schoolers. Now comes confirmation of another burden few kids are shirking -- jobs.

A University of Washington poll of nearly 2,200 high-school seniors released this week shows 56 percent of 'em tend to have jobs. Four out of 10 put in more than 15 hours a week.
