Shoplifting is up in Santa Fe, drunken driving is down, and people are finding it more difficult to pay their fines and fees, Santa Fe Municipal Judge Ann Yalman says.
At Wednesday's City Council meeting, Yalman handed out charts that showed drunken-driving cases have declined from 320 in 2007 to 204 in 2009, while shoplifting cases have risen from 413 in 2007 to 626 in 2009.See the full content of this document
