Summary


It is legally easier for your school to find drugs in your urine than to find drugs in your school locker.

In 1995, the Supreme Court upheld the right of schools to randomly test the urine of student athletes. Seven years later, in 2002, five U.S. Supreme Court justices extended this invasion of privacy to nonathletes as well, permitting the random testing of those involved in extracurricular activities such as the Academic Team, Future Farmers of America, band and choir.
