Do we really need even more guns? There is a bill (HB 136) that would allow concealed weapons just about anywhere, including schools, buses, state parks and any establishment that serves liquor. In addition, the bill allows people to carry multiple concealed weapons. (When one isn't enough!)
Another bill (HB 140) proposes the removal of the requirement that a person take a refresher course every two years in order to carry a concealed weapon. I don't know about you, but I don't want untrained people with multiple concealed guns around me in a restaurant that serves drinks. If you don't believe these are in the best interest of New Mexico, please contact your legislators and tell them. While you're at it, ask them to ban extended magazines and assault weapons.See the full content of this document
