CONVERSION IS PART OF PROBLEM

The March 7 headline, "Proselytizing problems" was followed by the line "U.S. soldiers aren't allowed to convert people in the Mideast." It is noted that the picture accompanying this was a soldier with a gun in hand. This is, to say the least, offensive. It is not a "problem" that proselytizing is frowned upon. Those from any religion who say that theirs is the only one could have religious fervor, but they also exhibit a great deal of bigotry. Much of the world has problems because of attitudes toward religion. The less religious intolerance, perhaps the better off we'd be.
