Last September, after spending more than $400 in school supplies for the first day of school for my four children, I felt it was time to speak out on behalf of our community.
The costs associated with purchasing the required items upon the SFPS school supply lists were not only difficult to find, but quite costly-- especially when coupled with other related first day of school expenses. As a member of the Santa Fe Public School Board, I asked that the school supply lists district-wide be reviewed, assessed and ultimately redefined.See the full content of this document
