Titanic twists of tempo, topped with dessert
Violinist Sarah Chang and pianist Ashley Wass brought repertoire old and new to the Lensic Performing Arts Center on March 20. Playing to a receptive Santa Fe Concert Association audience, they started off with Beethoven's big "Kreutzer" sonata in A Major, then moved on to American composer Richard Danielpour's atmospheric River of Light and Prokofiev's jaunty Sonata No. 2 in D Major.
