A couple hundred Eldorado-area households were advised Sunday to boil their water as a precaution after a water-system pump broke down over the weekend, quickly draining a storage tank to a dangerously low level.
The Eldorado Area Water and Sanitation District said in a flier distributed to residents of the Dos Griegos, Alteza and Belicia Estates subdivisions that a booster-pump failure Saturday caused the water level to drop in a tank that feeds water to the subdivisions.
