After a first half of missed shots and bad execution on offense, a frustrated Santa Fe High Demonettes squad turned to its defense in the third quarter to not only wake up, but to put away the Albuquerque Highland Lady Hornets 47-32 Tuesday in a District 2AAAAA girls basketball game in Toby Roybal Memorial Gymnasium.
