Graphic narratives have been making news of late, mostly novels, with an occasional graphic memoir appearing.

Now we have a graphic history, The Plot: The Secret Story of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion (W.W. Norton, $19.95), written and drawn by one of the most well-known comic artists, Will Eisner. He rose to fame with The Spirit, a crime-fighter who eschewed gaudy tights and capes for a simple eye mask, a spiffy hat and sharp clothes. Eisner didn't stay with just that though; he expanded by moving into stories that examined human stories and lives.
