Summary
St. Patrick's Day is just days away, and even though it happens midweek this year, the likelihood of throwing back some bottom- shelf green beer; stuffing your gullet with cheap cabbage, potatoes, and corned beef; listening to some raucous live music; and doing a naked jig in the streets is still extremely high. If you're as sick as I am of hearing about the recession, you might even want to get the festivities started early. Go find your favorite pair of clover- green earmuffs and meet me at the pub. And hurry -- I'm running out of beer money, and naked jigs are always less awkward -- for those dancing and those watching -- when they involve more than one person.
