My View: College of Santa Fe On Track with Art-School Model

Summary


I am a faculty member at the College of Santa Fe, and I believe that by re-visioning CSF as an art school, the administration finally is making an absolutely necessary move, however difficult. It is a decision that will not only save the school from closing, but if done with bold vision, will allow us to transform CSF into a world-class art school.

The past two administrations put all the college's muscle into recruiting liberal arts students, and it simply didn't work, as the numbers of declared majors show.
